My name is Arthur Bales, and this page is dedicated to understanding golf as a mystical experience. Some might find this to be an absurd notion, but nevertheless, many have found such an unlikely connection to actually exist! This page is specifically the result of a paper that I wrote as an Independent Study Project for my Masters Degree in English at Virginia Tech, but it is also the culmination of a lifetime of thoughts, feelings, and glimpses into the mysticism of golf, on and off the course.
